Will we ever travel again?

This is the question on all our minds at the moment will we ever get off the island and travel again? This has left many disappointed with travel plans being shelved. this year. New Zealand once had an advertising campaign which reminded us that we should not leave home till we have seen our country. This has now become the reality for many of us living in New Zealand. and probably the world. We have all become very organic, enjoying local produce, question what’s sustainable, we have come together as a community and are much more aware of those around us. This bubble of ours though will burst one day and we will all be looking for a new and exciting destination for our next holiday. Travelling may take on a different look, in that travelling across a number of countries may take a back seat due to restrictions. Poland like New Zealand is working hard on containing the number of Covid cases but with a population of approximately 37 million and borders with six countries this has proved a lot more difficult than here on our island. Masks in public are currently mandatory, and borders have been open then closed and then opened, however all vineyards were open over the summer. It would seem that Covid was not going to stop those Polish wine lovers, out in the open air with a wine and a metre distant between fellow wine drinkers, it was perfect to get rid of those Covid blues. Travelling to Europe will require more organisation, management and awareness. Isolation will stop us from travelling and our itinerary and prices may vary. Next year may be a research year for us, but I am always the optimist and if we cant get you to Poland in 2022 we will definitely be celebrating.
